from wp.com to wp.org

  • Hello I’m new here… I have a wp.com (https://martha-marc.com/) and I would like to migrate to wp.org. I think it’s better.
    But I’m scare to lose some dates or if senerioty will be affect.
    Some one do a migration ?

  • You can get Guided Transfers from the expert people at WordPress.com. Here is more information: https://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#moving-to-wordpress-org

    1. In WordPresss.com site’s go to Dashboard->Tools->Export. You can export all the content like pages, posts, comments, users into an xml file.

    2. Now install a fresh WordPress. You can download it from www.ads-software.com site.

    3. After installation goto Dashboard->Tools ->Import. Now import that xml file here. All the content from your blog will be imported into your WordPress site.
