• Hi,
    I suddenly noticed that my top admin bar was missing on front end.

    It is true on all the sites of my network.

    – The admin bar is activated on my user profile
    – I tried to deactivate every plugin
    – My themes normally display the admin bar (function call in the footer)
    – I use WordPress MU Domain Mapping with these options :
    * Remote Login
    * Permanent redirect
    * User domain mapping page
    *Redirect administration pages to site’s original domain
    … and NOT this option :
    0 Disable primary domain check

    Wherever I login (global network or single site), i get the problem.

    Thanks for any idea !
    Nicolas

  • Hello minutepapillon,

    Hope you’re well! ??

    I suggest you try this: https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Debugging_in_WordPress and also try to check if there is any javascript error. In google chrome, open javascript console by following this screenshot: https://prntscr.com/5nqiim then take a screenshot and post it here.

    Looking forward for your reply! ??

    Take care,
    Calvin

    P.S Could you try to switch to default wordpress theme just so we don’t miss an obvious?

    Hi Calvin !
    Thanks for your help.

    No JS error (Firebug in firefox)

    Debug mode gave me :

    Notice: wpdb::escape is deprecated since version 3.6! Use wpdb::prepare() or esc_sql() instead. in /home/lucinia/www/wp-includes/functions.php on line 3383

    Notice: get_current_site_name is deprecated since version 3.9! Use get_current_site() instead. in /home/lucinia/www/wp-includes/functions.php on line 3383

    But I guess these warnings explain nothing about my issue …
    Still searching …
    ??

    Hello minitepapilion,

    Hope you’re well! ??

    May I know the theme you are using to your site? Also I suggest you check your webserver’s error logs and share us the error (if have any ).

    Looking forward for your reply! ??

    Take care,
    Calvin
