We’re having a small issue on the front-end of the website when a user is signed into the CMS. It’s not a huge issue as it’s only appearing for admins but would be good if it could be fixed.

It seems to be that some scripts are being included with the Firebird Pro plugin which are conflicting with other scripts and causing other areas of functionality to break.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

    Hi there,

Can you please deactivate other plugins to test to find out which exact plugin causes the conflict with FileBird? Those script errors are not from FileBird as we have confirmed from our developers.

    Waiting to hear your result.

    Best regards,
    Kelly

Thanks for the information. We’ve tried deactivating all other plugins and still seem to have the issue.

We’ve updated this on a staging environment for testing which can be viewed here:

The sortable.js plugin and a number of other JS files only seem to be included when FileBird is activated. Could WordPress only be loading the file in when functionality it relies upon is requested as this only occurs when FileBird is installed and active?

I can see within the FileBird files that there’s the following file that references sortable (/filebird-wordpress-media-library-folders/admin/js/folder.js) so can only assume that something within FileBird is requesting this JS file which is then causing the issue?

    Thanks again for your help.

    Hi there,

We don’t see the issue looking at your URL https://easthagbourne.dwevbox.co.uk/
    Can you please check again?

    Hi Kelly,

Sorry, as mentioned in the initial post, this is only an issue if you’re logged into the CMS.

I can give you a login to the CMS for the site if this will help identify the problem?

    Hi Dave,

We have updated FileBird, now we have the option to turn off FileBird loading on the front end, WordPress dashboard > Settings > FileBird https://share.getcloudapp.com/9ZuW80qW

Please let me know if this helps.

    Thanks and Best regards,
    Kelly

That sounds perfect, how do we update Filebird as I’m not seeing an update within the WordPress dashboard for Filebird or do we need to wait for it to be rolled out?

Just to quickly follow up; I’ve updated the plugin via the Envato Market place and can confirm that this now fixes the issue.

    Many thanks ??
