Front end fix only

  • For thousands of existing posts with categories already selected this plugin is not useful at all. This just adds JS to force and automate the selection of parent categories when manually editing a post. Its just front-end DOM manipulation, there’s no backend logic supporting the function and does not fix existing data.

    Well, the description doesn’t say anything about changing the backend logic, so rating it down for this seems a bit arbitrary. ??

    Complaining about something the plugin never claims to do and rating it based on a wish is lame.

    I don’t know, I think @joelkarunungan is right because one would not use such a plugin for posts that need to be created, but for posts that are already published. So, it’s useful from a Admin perspective but not for fixing the problem in retrospective.
