    Hi @gibarro

I don’t see this plugin being on your website. Is there any specific URL I need to check?

Sadly, V2 reCAPTCHA does not work for me either. I followed the instructions and video provided by this plugin. I successfully registered and obtained my Site Key and Secret Key respectively, checkmarked all the necessary checkboxes under the Status Settings section. Clicked on the Save Changes. I then launched a new browser (Chrome and Edge) and neither worked. If anyone out there has any recommendations or indicate where I went wrong and what the fix is, I’d appreciate it.

    Hi @giiunit

Please check the console of your site and make sure there is no JS error. Can you please provide the URL of your site?

Hi @maneshtimilsina, thanks for responding. My URL mediatcgroup.com So far I don’t see any JS error in the backend. But just so you know, after my post, I was able to get the plugin to work by going into Incognito mode, and it showed up (both in Chrome/InCognito and Edge/InPrivate window). I then cleared my browser’s cache, and relaunched it, and the plugin works in the non-incognito/InPrivate window, respectively. HOWEVER, according to Google reCAPTCHA website dashboard, I get the following message. “We detected that your site isn’t verifying reCAPTCHA solutions. This is required for the proper use of reCAPTCHA on your site. Please see our developer site for more information.” Any idea how I can get this fixed or what this means? Thanks again for following up.

    Hi @giiunit

It looks like you are using GoDaddy Firewall, which might be creating an issue. Can you disable it once and check your site?

Might the problem be JS minification?

I had the recaptcha plugin working on my site and then it stopped working. The recaptcha widget stopped appearing in the registration form. My site is hosted at Site Ground, and I have their plugins for WP installed, including the SG Optimizer. That plugin was recently updated, so I started troubleshooting. If I deactivated the SG Optimizer plugin, the recaptcha plugin started working again. I traced the problem to JS minification. The fix is to exclude the recaptcha plugin from JS minification. The settings for the SG Optimizer make that easy. Just look for the JAVASCRIPT tab of the Frontend page of the settings.
