• I recently noticed that this plugin displays notices on front end of the website. Back-end I can understand if done properly (Not on my dashboard but on your plugin page), but now it on the front-end of the website for logged in users.

Clarity should be used more I guess now, this abuse is to much.

    Hello @gauravyad,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math support, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

From your explanation, it seems that you’re referring to the Analytics stats bar shown above on your posts/pages.

The Analytics Stats bar only appears to logged-in users on your WordPress dashboard.

However, to hide it temporarily or remove it permanently, you can follow the steps in this link:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/analytics-stats-bar/#hide-stats-bar

    Hope that helps.

Yes, I’m talking about the Analytics stats bar and I know how to disable it. I don’t need help with that.

And yes I know it is only displayed to logged in user but it appears when I visit my site (https://example.com), so I’m not taking about the dashboard.

Problem is why do I need to disable it. (It should be like – I enable it if I want). Its a Pro sell banner.

    Hello @gauravyad

With that analogy, no one should display any Ads on their blogs, and they must write for free. Hope you are doing what you are preaching.

The issue would have been if that bar stayed there, and there was no way to dismiss that, which is not the case.

Also, the bar shows up only if someone connects their Analytics module to Rank Math.

Rank Math is one of the only SEO plugins that provide literally everything in the free version but then the business must keep running so the Free version is not removed. Revenue generation is paramount for any business or a website.

Hope you understand and your website start generating enough revenue so you can understand the essence of business.

    Take care.

I don’t have website where I can run ads but I do understand the importance of ads and if you read my review I clearly mentioned that you showing me ads on my backend is fine (I’m your potential customer and your can target me there) but not on my frontend the website.

Variety of users can be logged into a website which are not potential clients. This can create problem for the people managing the website.

I have nothing against ads but there is a balance which should be maintained.

    Hello @gauravyad,

The stats bar is not just an upgrade to PRO banner, but it also shows the optimization level of the page in the front end. The Upgrade to PRO option is added there as in the PRO version, you can see more detailed stats.

We understand the balance we need to keep, and that’s why it is very easy to hide or disable it. And it also provides insights about the page’s optimization rather than just asking you to upgrade to PRO.

But giving a 1-star rating just for that option is really harsh and did not come across nicely.

Please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

Update the review to 3 stars but I still believe it should be disabled by default.

In past I have suggested people to switch Yoast to RankMath as it provide so many better options. But still I don’t agree with this.
