front end upload no joy

Hi,

i am sorry, i developed it completly with internent connection. So its prepared 100% to live systems. I have not tested it on localhost tools like wamp and xampp. Do it works fine for you on a live system?

I’ll have to check. I normally get everything working offline, then dump it to the live site. I may end up just using a restricted Dashboard to let the site owner work with media, but out of curiosity I’ll see whether your plugin works on the live site in question.

Yep, it works fine on the live site. It would be very helpful to be able to work with this in wamp.

How about full gallery control via front-end? For those of us who have access/level protection in place, it would be a simple matter to selectively allow specific users to approve, delete, move/sort, modify description, etc., by restricting separate shortcode controls.
Sure, there’s the Dashboard, but the trouble with it are:
1) isn’t nearly as clean-looking as the front-end control would be
2) takes them out of the main site/gallery
3) doesn’t allow selective restriction to controls once in the plugin menu, which would be very helpful — e.g., site owner wants person A to be able to approve image, but not delete, while person B can both approve and delete, and person C can only sort images.

indeed, thats would be a powerfull feature.
I will take it to my task list, but cant promise that will be developed so soon. Maybe it could be also resolved in backend? So admin say this user profile only can add description, change options, but not delete or activate.
Something like that way.
