Front page defaults to last viewed language

  • Strange problem. I have tried several browsers and the behavior is the same.

    I just added German language to a site that has Swedish and English. I have added the German front page.

    The English language is set to Default with the star. English is order 1, Swedish 2, and German 3.

    If enter www . mysite . com, the browser redirects to the last language I viewed the page in. So if I go www . mysite . com/en/home, and close the chrome tab, open a new tab and enter www . mysite . com, I am redirected to www . mysite . com/en/home. If I go www . mysite . com/de/start, and close the chrome tab, open a new tab and enter www . mysite . com, I am redirected to www . mysite . com/de/start.

    I have the setting: Detect browser language enabled. I disabled it, and the behavior is the same.

    What is making the browser go to the last viewed language? I can’t figure it out.

    Spaces in urls added to prevent linking.
