• On my website teamstanley1.com my front page is different than the rest of my pages. I would like to have a slider on the front page and all the other pages to just have side bars, etc. I would still like the side bars on this page but I just want them to start below the slider(just like all the other pages on my site does) How do I accomplish this?

teamstanley1.com I need the slider all the way across the home page.

https://teamstanley1.com/?page_id=2 this has the slider all the way across but I want it to look like the current homepage with no slider. Makes sense?

  • Basically, for this, we can’t help you, it’s up to you.

You have to read your blog’s template files, understand how they work, and edit your template accordingly.
I’ve seen lots of various php codes for various website architectures, and wordpress might be the lost logical and simple to understand of all. Really, even if you’re a newbie, it’s no big deal (and you can alter a part to see what it’s changing, experiment on your own).

Make backups (all template files by FTP, database with phpmyadmin > select database name > export tab > all tables, compressed as zip), this way you can screw up as much as you like and it’s no big deal !
