• I upgraded to WP 5.4 and I have been left with and icon and “Front Page” being displayed in my Header just before the main menu.

    Any ideas why this is happening?

    As it is in the header is being displayed on every page. :/
    I know WP well and have worked with it for years, but I can’t figure out what has been introduced in 5.4 that’s causing this…

    TIA

    This is what’s causing it

    <div class="elementor-widget-container">
    <div class="post-state">
      <span style="background:#000000" class="page_on_front states">
        <span class="dashicons dashicons-admin-home"></span> Front Page</span>
    </div>
    <div class="post-state">
       <span style="background:#000000" class="page_on_front states"><span class="dashicons dashicons-admin-home"></span> Front Page</span>
    </div>

    I’d look at that widget and see what it’s supposed to do.

    Also, are you running the latest version of Elementor and your theme, Astra?

    Thanks for the response.
    I saw this code too, but I can’t see what is posting it into the site.
    I have the latest version of everything running on the site, I’m beginning to think this might be related to the JetMenu plugin which is part of Elementor.

    I’ve opened a ticket with them to check.
    The references to dashicons-admin-home seem very odd.
