• The front page doesn′t changes from the theme default page even if I select a published custom page I made and want to use as front page.

I′ve tried several different pages and I have purged the cache and used several different browsers on several different devices. But with the same poor result.

The front page is still only the theme′s default front page (the one with the happy woman on the phone).

I have also tried switching to other themes and at that point my custom front page show just fine. But as soon as i select and activate the Jadro theme, my front page is replaced with the default one.

I really like this theme and have built a site on it already. I would hate to have to change to another theme just because of this issue.

    Does anyone have any ideas?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @toby1one,

To edit the home page, you should go to:
Appearance -> Editor -> Templates -> Front Page.

Thank you for your reply @malexandric

Is there no way I can use a custom page as front page instead of editing the front page template?

I would like to just go to Settings->Reading->Your homepage displays->A static page (and then I select a published page).

The other themes I′ve tried out has this function available. Is this not the case with the Jadro theme?

    Hey @toby1one,

No, this is not possible with Jadro.
