I got the front page “our focus”, “testimonial”, and other sections to show up by selecting “–” for home page and posts page. But when I attempt to set the Home Page to Static Page “Home”, it makes the home page appear blank, with just the background image. Which would be fine since the home page works on “–“.

However, I also run a blog on my site and, when I attempt to set the posts page to “blog”, everything on the home page disappears and the posts stream shows up in the home section.

I need to have the home page, with features, and a post stream set to my “blog” page.

If this wasn’t clear, let me know. It is a confusing issue to work with.

    Hi Ben,

I think I got what you mean. To do so, you need to let the homepage be “Your latest posts”. If you check our demo, you can see we also have a blog section.
To create a blog section of your website, create a new blank page with the title Blog and on the right side, where it says Template, select Blog.
Now you have yourself a blog page, just like in our demo:

    Hi Marius

Thanks for sending me here from the other thread. I have seen how it’s set up in your admin demo, but I don’t see the option to select a template for my pages. I am a beginner to WP, so please excuse me if I’m missing something basic.

I’m with nathanMechEng, I don’t see any place inside the page to select a template.

I am really sorry guys, I made a mistake. It seems there is indeed this issue where there are no templates for pages in version 1.3.1

I have tested on our demo version which is newer and has fixed a couple of issues as well as new features, but the update isn’t live yet, we’ll release it very soon.

    Best regards,
    Marius

    Thanks Marius.

The update is live, can you check if the problem persists?
It shouldn’t, but your confirmation would be appreciated ??

    Hi Marius,

The problem appears to be solved. Thanks for the quick action.

    Regards
    Nathan

I just installed this theme and converted my site from a previous template – the issue is still there, regarding the static front page. If I select “static front page” the template disappears and I can choose a page as my front page. When i do this – my blog post page works properly. If I select “your latest posts” as my front page, the template home page presents properly, and my blog page does not.
Please tell me how to fix this.
I want both a blog page displaying all of my previous blog posts and the template front page to display as well.

    Hello,

Please select the “your latest posts” and you can share the link to your website in order for us to take a look.

    Best regards,

    Hello Sara,

Could you please share the link again? I’m not able to see it.
