front page dramatically slow/poor

    I have applied several tips from what I have read on the forums, I have even stripped my front page to remove slider, parallex effect, etc, those neat features. I have removed all background images from front page, have removed a lot of stuff from front page and still so slow to load.

    I have installed Autoptimize, Super Cache and speed booster and still slow. Google insights gives it a grade of 19!!Not sure what is going on. Please help!!

    Sucuri shows the main site application is Easy Digital Downloads v2.8.10

    This check shows there is in fact some severe site performance issues.

    Seems you have way too much content on your page. Try not having a page with so much content.

    Thank you for taking the time to run my website through those apps. I will remove the plugin and look for differences. Something must have changed since that did not seem to be an issue before.
    I have also contacted Elegant Themes which is what I am using for my website, I’ve had that much content before on front page on another site and was not a problem.
