Front Page Excluded Categories not working in 2.7?

I had been using the Front Page Excluded Categories plugin to exclude the “Videos” category (id “11”) from the home page. All was working fine until recently (probably due to upgrading WordPress) and now it lists the Videos category on the home page https://www.jqpentertainment.com/

Anyone know of a fix?

I’ve tried changing the loop on the homepage but when I use the code below, it gives me a blank entry unless I made a new post right after posting the video… so that doesn’t work either.
