Front Page Feature Pages

  • Does anyone know if you can have more than 3 feature pages in the Front page template? Instead of the standard three, I would like to stack another 3 or even 6. Would prefer options that doesn’t require coding cos I don’t know how (im not a techie or coder. Zero html skills except for line breaks….lol). But I do have MicroThemer installed. Perhaps using that?

    Hi there! Adding more featured pages to Goran is a major structural change that would require strong coding skills, since the featured pages are tied to the Customizer using PHP. On top of that, Goran is already a child theme (of Edin) so you wouldn’t be able to make that sort of change in the usual recommended route for this sort of thing, even if coding skills weren’t a factor.

    All this said, I think you’re better off choosing a different theme that better meets your needs out of the box. ?? Perhaps take a look at Sela instead – it uses text widgets for adding featured pages — instead of pages tied to Customizer selections — so it’s more flexible in that way.
