• Hello!
This Theme is very pretty and usable. Thanks so much!
I must say that I am staying with wordpress.com – but this seemed like the right place to ask.

On the bottom of my website I have three Featured Menu items with images. These link to Food Menu Sections. The problem is that they have a peculiar formatting (good for a food menu, but I am using it for my business website). So I have created new pages (which are also way easier to maintain than diving into the menu). The problem is that these Featured images have a fixed link. I would like to link them to my normal pages like: https://lukasweichselbaum.com/productivity/
These normal pages are accessible via the Top-Menu under Coaching. I was not able to directly change the links for the Featured Menu Content (the images) on my front page.

Is this even possible when using WordPress.com?

    Thank you very much!
    Lukas

  • Hi Lukas –

Thanks for writing. Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. We’re a bit behind with the Holidays.

I can see on your site, that you’ve got the following pages linked to the bottom of your front page.
    https://lukasweichselbaum.com/menu/sharing-presence/
    https://lukasweichselbaum.com/menu/productivity-coaching/
    https://lukasweichselbaum.com/menu/confidence-coaching/

Do you still need help or have you figured this out? You can edit those pages further, to use a normal page style if you want. You don’t need to use the menu format on them.

Write back if you need anything else. All the best.

    Dear Liz,
thank you very much for your reply! Please excuse my late reply.

Yes the links at the bottom are working, yet I would love to have a different formatting on these pages (my #1 priority). I was not able to change the formatting. I want it to look just like a normal page (like in https://lukasweichselbaum.com/confidence). My current solution looks like this (screenshot): as I was not able to make the symbols link to a normal page and had to adapt the menu items.

My #2 priority would be to just have these symbols on the bottom link to a normal page like: https://lukasweichselbaum.com/confidence

As an aside (a bit OT so please ignore if you wish)
Also I would love to change the look of a Blockquote to the standard formatting

I am not sure if any of my issues are actually resolvable as long as I am operating on a Blog that is hosted at wordpress.com and not have control over the webserver?!

Thanks so much and best regards from Vienna!
    Lukas
