Front page image missing latest update

I rolled back to 2.0.1 – but now I can’t add widgets to the main page…and it seems like I still have the 2.3.1 version of the admin screen. (linked from Dashboard > WP Opulus Page Options)

I can turn off the Demo Widgets – but that feature shouldn’t even be part of 2.0.1

So – despite rolling back – some parts of the new version aren’t being deleted. (or so it seems)

Ok – Im going to have to start over.

I went back to my original demo site…ran the wordpress update and the Opulus theme update.

The newest version of this theme – the banners work quite differently…I think that might be the source of some confusion here (and the code may well be broken!)

So – I was able to get the above header.php code edit to work – but it still didn’t display quite right. Shows the image too small and in an IFRAME or something…but this is after running the theme upgrade.

And, after running the theme upgrade I still have the older theme options page (with the broken CSS navigation where the links dont quite display right)

Maybe theres something screwy going on the database side.

Two sites – identical software, same server…different results.(Theme options page)

Ok – I upgraded my production site to the newest version of Opulus(after downgrading)

I think – the suggestion posted by “NighthawkCH” DOES work. (if you tired it, and it didn’t work…you need to “Edit” the page – and add the image at the bottom in the Nimbus banner box. (make you sure you tell it to display Full Size.)

And I think I have the Widgets figured out – I think the names are confusing if you were using the older version of the theme.

So – I think Im all set!

Does anyone know how to have more than one “banner content plus slide show header” design using the Opulus theme?
I have 3 parent pages other than the frontpage that I want to have a different content and slide show on. The author only give instructions for how to set up the slider on the frontpage if it is set as the HOME page. What about if you wanted a different slideshow and content in the header per page? Would you need to write a script seperately and use the “content only” header option for the other pages? If this is the case, where do you put the script? I don’t see a place for it under “EDIT PAGE”.
