Front page is blank

  • I have a site atlnightspots.info with godaddy.com and the front page was showing fine until I changed the connection strings on the wp-config files on the back end to reflect the new database. Once the changes where made the front page went blank godaddy ruled out any issues on there side I wanted to know what the issue was?

    Side Note. I am mirroring a .com site in which im changes servers and trying to avoid the max downtime. The .com site which are all the files are being transfered from are all up and working fine.

  • Hi,

    Check with these options:

    1) Either rename the Plugins directory from FTP or deactivate all Plugins from database.

    2) If option 1 fails then rename theme folder in wp-content/themes via FTP to cause WordPress Default theme to be place into service.

    Shane whats it mean when I login to my atlnightspots.info which is mirroring the atlnightspots.com and it directs me to https://www.atlnightspots.com/wp-login.php?

    Shane G I took the database from the .com and moved it to the info. now its referencing the .com when I log on. How do I change the database in the .info reference the info?
