Front page is blank. Please help!

  • Hello,

    Whenever I go to my first page, it appears blank. I haven’t done anything to it for it to happen. Just kind of happened randomly. Tried to deactivate plug ins to see if that would work, but it didn’t.

    I also can’t access wordpress. Same thing happens. Blank page. https://imaginetheending.net/

  • I had the same issues, hjave you told wordpress to load information on the main page from one of your other pages ?

    it would make sense that it automatically grabbed whatever was updated the latest, but wordpress… is unconventional ?

    I didn’t do anything new. I mean all of my wordpress stuff is under my main directory. It’s always been like that and didn’t have any real issues.

    It going blank just kind of happened spontaneously. I didn’t update anything or upgrade anything…

    Are you able to log in to your wordpress at all? If so, take a look at
    Appearance> Editor> Main Index Template

    At one time, I had been hacked and this is the place where the code had been manipulated.
    What theme are you running?

    I can’t get to wordpress at all. I don’t know which theme because I can’t get log in.

    I have the classicold, default, painter, twentyten, and vinica under wp-content though.

    Try switching to the Twenty Ten theme by renaming the painter & vinica folders in wp-content/themes using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.
