Front page not showing the title

    My front page doesn’t show the title. I have titles enabled. The other pages display the title. The front page does not. The title shows when I’m editing but not when it is published. I really would like to show the title. I’m using the GO Theme. Perhaps that theme doesn’t show the title on the front page. Do I therefore need to add a heading on the front page in the content for the title?

  • It is dependent on the theme. Most themes do something (an option or a template) to affect the home page title, because most people don’t want one.
    Yes, the easy solution is to put the title in the content.

    As I have followed all the instructions with regard to showing the title on the home/front page and it doesn’t work I am now assuming that in the GO theme the front page title isn’t shown. I did go in and add a title H1 to the front page and that is now working. Thanks for the reply, Joy.
