front page rendering differently

Hi

I am having an issue causing much scratching of heads.

I want the front page of this site to render in the same way as all of the other pages – that is with a margin above the page title and above the right side-bar. The page and sidebar layouts are from the same template – but whenever this page (or any other page on the site) is assigned to be the front page – the layout changes with the content jumping up to just under the border with the main navigation menu. How do I stop this and have the layout the same?

As you can see, I also want to use the Zakra breadcrumb. This layout issue is not caused by the breadcrumb – because it does not change when I disable the breadcrumb option. I’d prefer the breadcrumb to be shown on the front page – but would settle for the front page to render the same as all of the others.

I’ve spent ages trying to figure this out myself – and have now thrown in the towel and afraid have to bother you guys.
