Front page showing 2 images per post

Hello!

I am very new to WordPress, and I know nothing about coding, so there… ??

I love this theme. It’s just what we wanted.

However, there is one question. In our posts, there often are more than one image. On the front page, posts with more images than just the featured image, another image also shows. How could we change that? One image per post on the front page would be enough.
