• I’m having trouble getting my front page to display the full text of a post, although all settings are correct:
Settings > Reading > Front page is latest posts
Appearance > Theme Options > Home Layout > Latest Post Display (Full)
Settings > Reading > For each article in a feed, show Full Text

Instead it’s showing the excerpt. And when I click on Home there’s nothing – not even the excerpt.

It’s password-protected until I get it right but anyone here who has any ideas is welcome to have a look: use mary, havealook to log in.

    Thanks!

  • I am able to get the full post to display on my site’s front page by going to Theme Options> Home Layout, and placing all modules EXCEPT “Page Content.”

Then, go to Settings> Reading to be sure that you’ve set your front page as latest posts. Also be sure it’s set to display the full post.

Let me know if that works for you.

By “placing all modules” I think you must mean this area (attached). But it didn’t make any difference – except enabing Icon Menu made a gray block above the image.Homepage Layout Manager

Sorry, I for some reason didn’t finish my thought above. disable all except page content. This should show the full posts.

    OK, that did it. Thanks.
