Front page slider distorted on tablets

Hi – thank you for a great theme! I have a static slide on the front page and the slider is not being responsive on tablets and smaller screens. On mobile phones, the slider is not showing, so not a problem.

I looked for the line of code used in a similar question about 6 months ago, but I couldn’t find it.
