Front page vanished after 1.1.20 update

Please try to set a static front page may be it will solve your solve.

I have the same issue.

Under Frontpage section there is no Slider selection option any more but one called Big Title section.

The new Big Title section only allows your to add one page and not additional ones as before.

Is this a bug.

Luckily I only upgraded my development version and not our main shop page.

the thing is I see slider section in Frontpage settings.
@poonam I try all mixture of setting try static page on and off, but no success. I alos tried “kepp old static page”

still, same issue here running WP 4.7.4 and Shop Isle 2.1.14.
Front page with hero-slider, video, etc. is gone as is the Slider Section as option in the customizer.

Quick update:
I updated to the last shop-isle theme from within wordpress (Version 1.1.20) and istalled the shop-isle companion, which brought back the slider section in the customizer. Finally the front-end disappearing was actually my fault – I had my home page in review mode :-S

I also tried Shop Isle Companion plug it but it doesn’t fix my problem.
I saw slider section in customization tab before Companion plugin and after, just my landing page isn’t shown.

Do you have any ideas?

I found on web that I should leave static page setting to “newest page” to get the landing page show correctly. I sense there might be problem somewhere where ?

SOLVED

so I tried all different options and what worked was: Static page to any page from my pages -> show the initial demo lending page with all sliders and ?? not sure why but it works so I don’t care at this point.
