front page visibility and recent posts problem

Hi

I have set one of my categories to be visible on the front page, so that I can control which posts go on the front page. This works well, however under the recent posts widget it is only showing the posts from the category I have marked for visibility from the front page, I would like all the categories to be included in the recent posts widget.

any ideas?
