Front page widget aren’t showing up

  • HI there, hoping someone can help because I’m tired of trying everything to fix this front page and haven’t figured it out. How come the post slider, post list and featured news aren’t showing up? The widgets are set to the front page content sections, the categories are set, yet all I see is this “home” bar in the middle of the page and a big empty space in the middle with “what you missed” at the bottom. I really like this theme and I feel it fits well with the magazine, however, the home part is an eye sore and I don’t know what else to try to fix this. Can someone help out with this.

    Just wanted to add I put some videos from the home page but even that doesn’t look how I set up the blocks as the videos are bigger instead of smaller.

    As much as I like the feel of this theme I may go with something else.

    For set homepage, first of all please install a Shortbuild plugin then install a Ansar import plugin and activate.

    Then go to click ansar demo import menu on Dashboard Appearance and install a Demo and activate a front page,

    If you need widgets in Homepage or using homepage template, then go to Reading settings and Assign a Homepage template as a home and? blog page as a Post and save the settings. you can also following screenshot link:?https://prntscr.com/rxrneq

    Hello, its been some weeks now since I downloaded this theme and still stuck as to why I can’t get the widgets to show up on the front page. I followed your instructions to the letter and still a big empty space in the middle with the word “home” on a bar, I can’t understand why this can’t be fixed?

    HI I would like to buy this theme but if I don’t get any support as to why the front page can’t be fixed I will change back to the theme I purchased because I’m not getting any help at all and if you want people to buy into your theme your support needs to be better than this.

    Shame, it’s such a nice theme..

    Maybe I can try and help you, if you want that, that is..
    I’ve been struggling with this theme for over 4/5 months now
    but I got some insight into it.
    And managed to solve some of my problems on my own in the process.. (no thanks to them..)

    @safeunderdark sure let me know what you did. I noticed I tried updating the front page and the preview shows up but when I did a life view all blank. I ended up using elemenator and putting videos there so the page isn’t blank. Keep me posted.
