    Hello,

Please allow me some time to reproduce your issue.

    Thank you for having patience.

In the mean time, though you are probably locked into your theme and buddypress you might try disabling buddypress and then try the default theme just so you can know for sure if that’s the problem.

Thank you I will try that and get back to you with the results

If it is your theme or Buddypress, take heart because earlier versions of this plugin used to not work in some themes but now it does!
Developers just need time to reproduce the errors and make the adjustments, it never ends really, a lot of work!

I am still searching, Buddypress also gives me some headache so i am checking the overload of plugins i installed. Maybe there is some conflict with buddypress redirection plugins. I got a little further with this tho, when I press the edit button from the dashboard, i get the post form (at least not an error anymore).

Good luck to you! I use Buddypress. 3 years ago I built and still maintain one active BP site with about 60 members. I can’t even imagine trying at add wpuf to that mix. Users would be very confused about the difference between an activity post and a wpuf blog post. Although I suppose it depends on your users, your purpose, and how you set it up and present to users.

My set up doesn’t use too many BP features, I use an old plugin called BP Gallery to handle most of it and it’s great, but a bit complicated and the plugin hasn’t been updated in a long time. I want to quit Buddypress and BP Gallery and just use wpuf for the same purpose. My users are all pre registered, so I don’t have to mess with sign up.

Do you use buddyblog plugin? Does it allow for editing from dashboard for logged in users? I will check that later today, i think i have to let go of wpuf.

I hadn’t heard of Buddyblog but I sure could have used it a few years ago, as my struggle was always how to get more of a regular post functionality in Buddypress on the front end. No matter if I went with buddyblog of wpuf my users would have to redo their BP album entries as regular posts.
Seems like Buddyblog is essentially the same thing as wpuf, but does Buddyblog let users access the full media uploader and or media library? that’s always another complication I have on member sites, users get confused by the default media uploader and library.

    Hello belindasuva,

I have tested on my local environment and could not reproduce the issue. Did you check for plugin conflicts? If yes and the issue is still happening, can you allow me to login on your site and check?
