    Hiya,

when I try creating a new event from my frontend I do get a group drop down to choose from, but it only shows the 20 last created groups, not all of them. (There are 24 at this point.)

To test this issue I created a new group and sure enough the whole drop down row moved by one group.

    Here are my stats
    WordPress 3.6.1
    BuddyPress 1.8.1
    bbPress 2.4
    Events Manager 5.5.1

This should probably be quite easy to fix, but I couldn’t find any limitation to 20 items in the code.

Could you please point me in the right direction, so I can fix this myself until an updated fixed version comes out?

    Best regards,
    flashbytes

  • Hi,

If you try to create an event from WP admin, do you run into the same problem?

I’m asking because there was a bug fix for this in a recent version of Events Manager, but I’m not sure if it was for events added in wp-admin or the front-end forms.

The drop down list in the backend is fine:
    shows all available groups.

These lists though (both front and backend) are sorted by creation not by alphabet. The latter would be more logical and more tidy.

I’ll let Marcus know about this thread, because I think it’s related to the recent bug fix but he’ll be able to confirm if that’s true.

Hopefully he’ll be able to get back to you tomorrow.

Update: if you upgrade to the latest Dev version of the plugin, you should find the problem fixed.

    Hiya caimin_nwl,

thanks a bunch, that did the trick. ??
Now there’s just the issue of the sorting, but that’s a relative minor one.
