frontend insert/edit link – remove or minimize link to existing content

in the frontend add event detail section, when i click on insert/edit link,
the modal popup shows the ‘Or link to existing content’ .
can this be
– minimized by default
– or filtered to show only events or pages
– or removed so it cannot link to existing content

if any of them, how?
