Frontend posting to Text tab

    Hello all,

    I have a page setup that is inserting a post on submission. What I need to however do is send the content data to the text tab as HTML but its going through the the Visual tab instead. Is there any way of getting it into the Text tab directly.

    The content is identical in theory either way. The visual tab does do additional processing which sometimes alters the content. This will eventually happen anyway unless the user is one who never uses the visual tab.

    It appears the tab selection is a per user setting. The editor comes back in whatever tab the user last used. If you can determine where this state is saved, you should be able to manipulate it. I suspect it’s a cookie value. It might be a session setting, I haven’t tested very extensively. It could even be user meta but I doubt it.
