    Is your frontend submission addon capable of limiting the entries from registered users (authors)? i.e. Is it possible to place this submission link in registered user only area?

  • Hi @officezen,

    The Front End submission can be limited to administrators or “Event Contributors” and you can set it so that only priveleged users can see the Front End Submission Button.

    Do you mean you can limit the privilege to only administrators or “Event Contributors”, but not Authors?

    @officezen

    Adminstrators have full rights in the administrator panel, including deleting events.
    Event Contributors can submit, and edit events, but not delete events.

    My question is can I have Authors (not Event Contributors) submit their events using the front-end submission add-on?

    All my users are already Authors.

    Hi @officezen,

    The feature allows all priveleged users to see the Front End Submission button and fill out the form.

    Is Author group within your privileged user? If not is it possible to add Author group to the privileged user?

    @officezen sorry if I was unclear. Any user that has to login to your website is considered a priveleged user, including Author, yes.

    Can users set up recurring events via the front-end submission?

    Is there a shortcode I can use to add to a page so privileged users can edit their events with ease?

    Hi @officezen,

    Users can only set up one time events using the front-end submission form.

    Your priveleged users need only to login to their administration dashboard through the default WordPress admin login page. They can then View thier own events.
