Frontend User Upload?

  • I’d like to use this plugin in conjunction with my bbpress forums (since the inline image sharing is inelegant to nonexistent). I would like to have an option, beneath a gallery, to upload an image directly to the gallery for display. This fundtionality was one of the few reasons I continued to use NextGEN Gallery and the related plugins.

    Is there a way to accomplish this?

    Currently there is no capability to upload images on the front end to a gallery. We’ll consider if this might be something we can add in the future.

    Another vote for this one – I’m stuck with NextGen unless users can upload photos – thanks for considering it!

    We hear you. Let us give some thought to this.

    It’s not a simple fix if I remember chatting with Alan before about it. But it really helps to hear it again.

    I’ll be back to you next week.

    In the meantime anything else we need to do? Have you both checked out Media Library Plus ? Love to hear your feedback on that too.

    Ok folks.

    We have this on the calendar to start work on this in April. The reason being is that we have a pretty sizable upgrade schedule already on the calendar.
