Frontier and NextGEN Gallery > 3.0.8 and sidebar = problem

    I have two problems with NextGEN Gallery (since version > 3.0.8 and the Frontier Theme). With other themes the problems don’t show up.
    See sytest.sybern.ch, there the NextGEN widget is not updated in the left sidebar widget “Silber und Bronze Sponsoren” (only the first image is displayed briefly).
    Also you cannot click on the login of the meta widget (“Anmelden” in German) (only on the left millimeter). There is a div above the link.

    Everything works with NextGEN 3.0.8, see the productive page https://www.sybern.ch

    Any idea?

    Frontier support says that the div comes from NextGen (class=”slick-track”).
    I also deleted the widget, inserted it again, moved it to a different location or moved it to the right sidebar, always the same problem.

    Hi @isven,

    We are sorry to hear of the encountered issue. For now, it looks like a plugin’s resource fails to load.

    Could you please try to deactivate and delete NextGen Gallery then install it again to see if that’ll change anything?

    I deactivated, deleted and re-installed the plugin. Same problem

    I created a post with the same gallery slide show. Here it works. But nut in the sidebar

    I got a solution from the Frontier Theme Support:
    I don’t understand why, but that’s how it works again.
    Maybe you can integrate it into the NextGen plugin?

    Try this on your CSS:

    .ngg_slideshow.widget * {
    max-width: none;
}

    Hi Sven,

    Thanks for letting us know and great to hear that it helped you to solve the issue. The CSS may help only in case that the theme would restrict the maximum width of NextGen’s widget so that looks like something from the theme’s styling.

    As for the widget itself, I am not really sure that you are still using it somewhere since I couldn’t find it while following the previously provided link.
