Frontpage, Homepage and header/footer help

New to wordpress. I am working on creating a webdsite for my drone photography and computer repair business. It’s a static site with pages – Services, Gallery, Contact, About, but no ecommerce. I installed Chique Photography theme but am having trouble with the frontpage, homepage and header/footer.

1- I don’t need both a frontpage and homepage, so would like to eliminate one of them.

2- The header on the frontpage seems to take up most of the page space. I would like the header to just be a menu bar, or if the menu is on the side, then nothing along the top.

3- I’d like the homepage or frontpage image to be a full image.

4- I’d like to add social links to the footer.

Suggestions?
