Frontpage image not there

  • I’ve been trying for several days to get an image to appear on top of my blog page. Normally I use the frontpage_image field to achieve this but alas, it doesn’t show up. I put the same image path in the other image fields as weel to see if it makes a difference, but those are also not shown.

    I tried to change whatever path (absolute, relative), outside/inside domain, images in a folder outside of the wordpress folder, inside of it, but nothing works. I used to have WordPress 2.9 with InFocus. That did it beautifully, but since I’ve upgraded to WordPress 3.x as is or with Persuasion, I have no image on top of the page.

    I also played around with file permissions, putting all to 776. I did a full reinstall (delete all the files, drop the database) with no result.

    Anybody having an idea what could be the reason ?
