    Here is some additional information.
I just tried installing another blog on the same server, a fresh install with nothing in it and the same thing is happening.
I will look into the magic quotes, I don’t see them in the php.ini I have access to but will ask the host.

checke once your themes’s sidebar.php file…problem is there

ok thank you, what am I looking for in the sidebar.php?
I also tried other themes and the problem was the same.

can you check in different browser?

Yes I tried with both FireFox and IE.
I also installed a fresh wp on the same server with no plugins and I get the same problem.

I tried other wp installs on another server and I have no issue so I think it is coming from the host. I sent a ticket about turning the magick quotes off let’s see if that works

this is not a magick quotes prblem..this javascript problem.

Thank you, any suggestions on how I can fix it?

Found the problem, some lines in my domain’s .htaccess file were causing the problem.
I removed the lines and everything is working fine now.
