Sorry to say. I had a bad experience. I installed and activiated the plugin based on a link in a YouTube video. Thought it worked fine. But I noticed that since afternoon (about the time I installed the plugin) I have not been receiving orders. When I went to the customer view I noticed that the customer is being asked to verify their number and when they enter their number it says “sorry you do not have any credits”. I dont have to tell you how disappointed and frustrated I was. Also the video who referred this to me (where I’m going to post this comment) didnt mention anything about costs. I was not even able to test the software. Really this is disappointing.

We are not sure how should we respond you, whether we should feel pitty for you, or should tell you that its your mistake and you did not go through all the details.

    1. When you would have signed up on our website, you would have already seen pricing there.
    2. After logging into our site and in our plugin you would have already seen there is a credits tab which shows available credits in your account.
    3. You probably run an ecommerce site, and being a businessman you did not even once thought how and why something like SMS(which you already pay for in the name of mobile bill) would be free and to what extent?
    4. We do not have any official youtube videos for our plugin as of date, but there are many created by other developers and affiliates, you never thought to check the source of those videos?

Lastly, just tell me if you see a video of a car on youtube, do you see the price tag there?

Grow-up man, you are running a business, if you don’t you would have to miss many orders till you learn.

All of what you said may be true, but the way you personalized it is really not acceptable. Reviews have more than one function. One, of course, is for a user to share their experience with your software. Another is for users and potential users of your software to see how you respond when they come to you with praise, a question, or criticism. This is all in a public arena, and judgement flows many ways.

WordPress is a community, not a transactional marketplace. We don’t all have to hug all the time or even be friendly, but there is virtue in trying to treat each other with some level of kindness.

I see there is resentment at the feedback, and a response that is not quite helpful/professional.

Bearing the interest of the plugin users in mind I’d yet again invite your kind and objective consideration on the issue – When one installs a plugin that was expected to do just one additional thing – send an SMS confirming the order to the client, not sure how, NOT having SMS credits can be a reason for stopping the client from booking the order! It is of course understandable if you stop the SMS confirmation from going to clients.

And btw, I did check out the pricing section and had some queries to be clarified before making the purchase. In any case I didn’t expect this would stop orders from being processed. This is my central issue.

Here is the video that has been made primarily around your software by these team of young men who generally do a good work. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w1RJdcPVCcg

Issues with software and even business model are acceptable but this kind of response to a feedback is really not acceptable.

All Users do get 5 free test credits. Even if some one needs more we add it on case to case basis upon request, and as i can see in our logs you received a few notifications on your number as an admin when you had credits, so the user can always test the plugin, and you too had experienced how it works.

The plugin shows a proper message that you do not have credits, and we think that is quiete necessary for a user to know the plugin is working fine, and he can decide whether he want to purchase the credits or disable it.

You can see this video is not really made by our company, and if you find anything missing in it, you should tell them if you want, but still i can see this video clearly says about pricing and demo credits(check video from 14:00 min).

Regarding pricing/feedback or any other query, you should contact [email protected]

Please answer this question as this is bordering on ethical business – if a customer doesn’t subscribe to your service you can stop the service to the customer, but how can you stop the customer’s business? How can you stop the client from getting orders?
This is a serious issue. Equally serious is the issue of professionalism in communication.

    This is indeed your misconception.

We are not stopping anyone from disabling it, neither we are creating a block situation, we are clearly informing customers to contact admin/site owner, and there is a link for site owner as well, which says what actions you can perform, which is a must, or else you will see numerous users complaining by assuming its not working.

Our plugin’s responsibility/purpose is to stop fake orders while it is active, so how can you expect the order to be placed if OTP is not verified?

Tell me you would be already paying for hosting or may even try a hosting demo. Your service will be stopped and you would not be able to access your site, once your demo expires, will you blame hosting provider for stopping your site, and not letting you receive orders?

You are simply trying to proove your self correct, so we would not be taking this communication further, as we do not see any point in arguing with you.

Still if you want to continue discussion, you are welcomed to email at [email protected]

The website can/has been booking orders even without SMS Alert. But it cannot work without a hosting. In other words Hosting is a operation critical service while SMS Alert is not- and referring to my specific example, there is no COD enabled. In other words, I enabled SMS Alert only to add convenience to my clients (so they get an additional SMS of order confirmation as mentioned in your website – presently they are only receiving emails) but I needed some time to clarify the pricing structure. However in the meantime, because I installed SMS Alert and because I hadn’t selected the pricing plan, the entire service to my clients was stopped. This is either a bug or not proper in my opinion

So you feel an electronic lock should open the door, in case there is no electricity/battery?

Sorry, but we dont align to your opinion.
