• Hi again, this is my second post regarding FSCF. I still think this is one of the most excellent and configurable plugins. However, I’m unable to make it work with qtranslate Plus. Everything else works just fine and the default language (Estonian) form is posted successfully, but when I try to post English or Finnish forms, I get redirected to the default language form (unsubmitted). I made a post in three languages where I planted the shortcodes and gave it a permalink. After posting the default language form the URL shows https://www.tinka.ee/tellimus/#FSContact1. After posting English form URL shows https://www.tinka.ee/tellimus/#FSContact3. I tried to set qtranslate Plus back to “?lang=en” form instead of “/en/” form, but it didn’t matter. I tried some of the code hacks found here regarding this, but none of them work. I don’t conceptually understand what could be wrong – the post URL seems to be right, right? Or is it still wrong, should it have the “lang” parameter? If yes, why doesn’t it? I’m out of ideas, any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance!
    A.

  • Hi do you have the following enabled….Enable an HTML anchor tag on the form POST URL. under Advanced tab? If you do disable and try again.

Also can you share the other feature you have set up? Have you also created a ticket in the qTranslate Plus forum? Also it looks like qTranslate Plus might not be active any more.

Hi. I figured it out. qTranslate Plus doesn’t have a function called ‘qtrans_convertURL’, instead it has ‘ppqtrans_convertURL’. I just replaced it in ‘class-fscf-display.php’ and evreything works.

However, it seems there is still a problem with the FSCF also. Before the solution above I tried to create separate posts for EN and FI languages – but in default language – and created separate permalinks for them, like https://www.tinka.ee/order/ and https://www.tinka.ee/tilaus/, so qtranslate Plus should not have anything to do with it then, but they still didn’t work. Either with the anchors or not.

But yeah, qtranslate Plus seems dead. Although I tried many translation plugins, none of them were as convenient. I currently won’t bother to replace it either until everything (well, mostly everything) works.

    Thanks for the attention.

Hi have you tried the following plugin qTranslate X.

No, I haven’t, but thanks for the suggestion. I will try it once I have to update the site. Currently everything works so I won’t touch it ??

But the mystery why FSCF didn’t like my separate posts in default language remains.

    I use qTranslateX.
All hunky dory, but I want to edit the default translated fields… and I can’t find them!

OK I got it (Change field labels).
