• Is Eventin compatible with Full Site Editing? I’m testing out the plugin with theme twenty twenty three (WP 6.2) and I’m noticing two problems:

    1. When Eventin blocks are dropped onto a page in the editor, they don’t render in the editor and show the error “This block has encountered an error and cannot be previewed.”.
    2. When rendering a Single event, Eventin doesn’t pick up the customizations made to the “Single” template in the template editor and instead renders the default “Single” template instead.

Is Eventin supposed to be fully compatible with FSE? If not, is there a workaround for problem #2 in the mean time and do you have an ETA when Eventin will work properly with FSE Block Themes?

Here’s an example of the header and footer of the customized “Single” template that Eventin should be rendering: https://katogchokuling.org/wp/hello-world/
and here is what Eventin is currently rendering:

    Thanks!

    Hi @wykananda,

Thank you for the query. Single page template is not yet supported. And we are checking the block editor issue and will fix as soon as possible.

Kindly keep patience. We will update the plugin with necessary fixes if needed.

    Regards

    Hi @azamansagor,

I got the same problem. Is there a workaround to get a header to the eventpage? https://shop.motiondesigner.at/Wanderung/aha-dort-ists/
Maybe using elementor free or Blocksy plugin?

    Hi,

Using Elementor you can add a header on your Event page. Because we have facilities to make custom single event pages using Elementor. So, you can add a header to the event easily. But one thing, you have to do it for every single event. Because we have already pre-set three templates. If you are using our pro version of the plugin then you will get the header on the other two templates, “Template Two and Three”.

    Thanks for being with us.

    Best Regards.

Hi @azamansagor, wondering if there have been updates on this update, or any workarounds I could use in the meantime? I’m on the same boat, it would be great to have Eventin compatible with the newer FSE themes.
