fSpring – Switching from widgets to normal sidebar

Hi everyone!
I’m using fSpring (https://www.fahlstad.se/) with widgets from Fredrik Fahlstad. Can somebody tell me, how I can change the sidebar with widgets to become a normal one? Fredrik has this theme without widgets, too. Should I replace the sidebar.php only or is anything else necessary?
