FTP access only on manual start, scheduled job FTP access fails

  • My backup job is set to save the backup to my Synology NAS via FTP.
    This works fine when I manually start the backup job.
    But when the scheduled job runs it fails, generating this error message:

    1. Versuche, Backup an FTP-Server zu senden …
    FEHLER: Kann nicht mit dem FTP-Server verbinden:

    Thanks for any ideas…

    Hi Daniel

    I set up another job an a different time – same problem: manual start works fine, the scheduled run cannot connect to the FTP server.

    Is “scheduled backup to ftp” a premium feature?

    No it isn’t a premium feature! Hmm no Idea for the moment. Sorry. The code that works is the same.
