• I keep getting this error, “FTP credentials don’t allow to write to file /.htaccess”. It gives me code to put into the .htaccess file manually, which I do, but it still doesn’t work. I tried changing file permissions via Filezilla to 777 for .htaccess, wp-content and uploads. I’ve tried uninstalling, deleting all files and re-installing several times (and different versions), and still this is a problem.

Can you let me know what I’m doing wrong here?

Figured it out, it’s because I was using a temporary domain when adding this plugin. Once I edited the ‘Temp IP’ field in the database to the new domain, the plugin now works.
