FTP NextGen FTP'ed rather than upload, but templates missing

When I tried to Add NextGEN Gallery via WordPress Dashboard, I got an error message saying that it could not copy one of the php files, so instead I used FileZilla to copy the extracted NextGen Gallery files to the plugin folder. This seemed to work fine and I was able to add photos to galleries, but I don;t see how I can add a gallery to a page or post.When I go to Gallery Settings, it shows ‘Display galleries as’ ‘NextGen Basic thumbnails’ but there are no other templates I can choose from. Is that becuase I need to copy some templates into a templates folder somewhere else. Please advise. Mairead, Galway, Ireland
