Full Article won’t show up and a 404 problem.

    Ok I’m a newb at this blog and wordpress stuff. Anyways on my blog index page I create a post and it shows the whole post just like I want it. I also select to have it show up in certain categories which it does but it isn’t displaying the whole post. It puts a [a€|] after part of it and that is not clickable or anythign to get to the full post. Also, the title above all that is trying to link to the full post but I get 404. I do havea permalink structure of /%category%/%postname%/ setup and the information in the htaccess file that wordpress added automatically. I can post urls but wasn’t sure if it was ok to post a adult oriented url. ( not much nudity ) and in the escort niche.

    I appreciate the heads up. There are many thread topics here of this sort and the answers are always the same – whatever page does not show the_content but the_excerpt, you will have to replace the one with the other in the template – whether it is archive.php, single.php or whatever.

    The permalink problem might be one of several issues. I’d start with a search here and do a “trial-and-error” with the suggested “fixes” until you get the right solution.
