• Its horrific. Trying to find the real leads and enquiries from the avalanche of SPAM this plug in attracts is irritating beyond belief.

I will likely re-implement an older theme I bought which had an integrated spam protected form in it was cheaper than this plugins pricing.

  • Hey @wfp,

Thanks for leaving your feedback and I apologize for the trouble with spam you were running into.

In case it helps, we do offer a few built-in spam prevention options with all versions of WPForms:

    1. Google’s free reCAPTCHA service: This is a very popular option with built-in integration. Our integration includes 3 versions you can choose between: a traditional checkbox, “invisible”, and v3. You can find details on all of these in our tutorial.

    2. hCaptcha: This is a good option if you’d prefer not to sign up for Google’s reCAPTCHA service. Within your forms, hCaptcha will display a checkbox asking users to prove they’re human (much like Google’s v2 Checkbox reCAPTCHA). We have a detailed guide for setting up hCaptcha here.

    3. Block or allow specific email addresses: Using our Allowlist/Denylist feature, you can restrict or allow specific email addresses that can be used to submit your forms. We have a detailed tutorial for setting this up here.

I apologize again for the trouble here! If you run into any additional issues then please feel free to reach out to our team on the WPForms Support Forum.

    Thanks!
