• I have the full page slider on my home page, however I would prefer if it was not the full page and that I could reduce or dictate the actual height that the slider is. On a computer Id like visitors to be able to see the beginning of my content below the header without having to scroll down.
    Thanks.

The code in the identified topic did not work for me.

I am fairly new at this, so the comment to try thereafter is confusing to me:

“You can try to disable default slider in Appearance → Customize, then add an Enhanced Text Widget into the first row, and insert a shortcode of some slider (Meta Slider, Crelly Slider, etc.) as widget content.”

I would need a bit more instruction on how to apply this process if this indeed is the best route other than css code.

    Thanks.

    Hello @journeyeleven,

Please try to do the following.

    1. Disable default slider in Dashboard → Appearance → Customize → Header area → Header type by selecting No header (only menu) option.

    2. Install and activate Enhanced Text Widget plugin and add its widget into the first row of your home page.

    3. Insert a shortcode of some slider (Meta Slider, Crelly Slider, etc.) as the content of Enhanced Text Widget widget.

    Kind Regards, Roman.
