Are you talking about the play and pause buttons?

In the slideshow when the user move the mouse over the image, the associated legend appears. In the “lightbox view”, we only can see the title of the image, and the image itself. No legend.

Can you pin point which plugin settings are you referring to?

Okay, now I know what you are talking about. Did you by any chance make changes to the style? If you did can you test one of the default styles? This is just for testing purposes.

Should the caption appear?

Hi, the caption should display if you have added a title and a description to the slide in the slideshow. However this does not apply to videos because they don’t have the option to add the above.

As you can see in the screencast, the caption doesn’t display when the image is displayed with the overlay. Any idea on how I could fix it?

I am not sure in your case because we have done just about everything I could think of to troubleshoot your problem.
