Full Search with only CITY specified returns TOO MUCH and from other cities

  • When I go to the FULL SEARCH page and select

    COUNTRY = NO MATTER

    REGION = MATTER

    City = London

    The first few search results returned are for London users.

    However the next search results are from people around the world, in other countries and other cities.

    Now this is not a problem, because the first few user are always from the CITY LONDON.

    But surely the to be correct, the search results should be restricted to the city of choice.

    This is not a problem, because the user will always see the people he/she wants first. But maybe “OR” got used instead of “AND” somewhere.

    Even when I specify

    COUNTRY = United Kingdom

    Region = England

    CIty = London

    I get people from the region England, but from cities other than London.

    But people from the CITY = London are always the first search results shown.

    At a wild guess, perhaps the Rencontre software may deliberately include people other than in the city London to make a minimum number of search results. Just a guess! In any case this is not a problem as the London results are always returned first.
