full width background color

  • Hello.
    I want to create a background color on a certain section that will cover the whole screen on that section, only the problem is that if I create the background color on the section it doesn’t cover the side of the screen which I want it to. see screenshots to see what I mean:

    So is there a way to make the background color cover the whole screen on that section ?
